This is quite special to me. It’s my very first chainmail work, a little bracier for myself.
Rings were handmade using common iron wire, coiled with a little crank-action machine I set up for the occasion, and cut -or better, torn off – with clippers. And I say torn off because i developed a personal way to made this ringswhich avoided the “opposing V” effect that made rings slip one from another.
The two metal sheet little bars prevent it to fold on itself
I wore this night and day for years.
